LEE, Mass. – Lee High’s Bri Lynch struck out 13 and walked none Wednesday to earn a 3-1 win over Westfield Tech.

Lynch scattered five hits and allowed one earned run, which gave the Tigers a 1-0 lead in the top of the fourth.

Lee struck back in the bottom of the inning to take the lead for good.

Frist, Lynch reached base on an error. Courtesy runner Devyn Fillio went in to run for her and scored on Karalynn Hopkins’ RBI triple to tie the game.

With two out, Hopkins scored on a dropped third strike that allowed Delaney Reed to reach first base.

In the sixth, Lee tacked on an insurance run.

Again, Lynch got things started, this time with a leadoff single. She eventually stole third base and scored on Brooke Delaguistina’s RBI groundout.
