Taconic Edges Ware on Road

WARE, Mass. – Connor Paronto and Quentin Christopher combined to give up one earned run Friday as the Taconic baseball team beat Ware, 4-2.
 
Paronto got the start on the mound and struck out four while allowing one earned run.
 
Christopher struck out a pair and left the bases loaded in the bottom of the seventh in two runs of scoreless relief.
 
Damon Pause went 2-for-4 with a triple and a double in a five-hit attack for the Thunder.
 
Eddie Ferris drove in a pair of runs with a sacrifice fly in the second and an RBI groundout in the fifth to give Taconic a 4-0 lead.
 
The Thunder (7-2) hosts West Springfield on Monday.
