McCann Tech Tops Mount Everett

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – Lukas Rylander struck out 11 and scattered four hits Tuesday as the McCann Tech baseball team earned a 7-2 win over Mount Everett at Joe Wolfe Field.
 
Rylander helped his cause with a double and scored two runs for the Hornets, who jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the first.
 
Austin Buda was 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs to lead McCann Tech’s offense.
 
Nick Gilman was 2-for-4 with a double in a 12-hit Hornet attack.
 
Jacob Kreis paced Mount Everett, doubling in a pair of runs.
 
Heyden Cutlip went the distance on the mound for Mount Everett, allowing five earned runs.
 
The Eagles (6-5) host Smith Academy on Wednesday.
 
McCann Tech (9-4) hosts Drury on Thursday.
