Letter: Mail-In Voting

Letter to the EditorPrint Story | Email Story

To the Editor:

With the government under Trump trying their best to disable the post office so that mail-in voting cannot be effectively carried through, I thought it might be helpful for us in Berkshire County to check out alternative ways of delivering mail-in votes.

If you apply to vote by mail, in many or most towns you can deliver your own ballot envelope to the town's drop box. In Cheshire, for example, there is a drop box at the Town Hall right next to the entrance to the town clerk's office. If you plan to vote by mail, check this out so that your vote will count!
